What I need

Karen Kimmins Newborn Photography will be the 'controller' of the personal data you provide. I collect basic personal data about you including name, email, childs name and date of birth. 

Why I collect your data

I need your basic personal data in order to provide you with information about my photography services in accordance with our contract. I will not collect any personal data from you that I do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you. 

What do I do with your data and how do I store it.

All the personal data I hold is processed by myself here in the UK. No third parties have access to your personal data unless the law or my contract with you, allows to do so. I have a data protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data. All of your images and information are stored on my personal desktop and hard drive backup. Both are password protected. When we are not at home, our house is alarmed. 

How long I keep your data

I keep your information and images for the length of time agreed upon in the contract with you, after which time they will be deleted. If you have agreed to myself using some images for marketing purposes, these particular images will be kept until they are no longer needed.

What I would also like to do with your data

I would like to use your name and email address to inform you of future offers. This would not be any more often than once a month. This information is not shared with third parties and you can unsubscribe at any time via email or FB messenger.

What are your rights?

If at any point you believe the information I process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how I have handled your personal data, you can contact myself and I will investigate the matter. 

If you are not satisfied with my response or believe I am not processing your personal data in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.





The Client(s) hereby allow(s) the Photographer to display any images covered by this contract and to generally promote the business in advertising, promotion, social media, competitions etc.
