Newborn Mini Sessions vs Full Newborn Sessions.
Which one is right for you?
Every family is different, and so is the way they want to remember those precious early days. That’s why I offer both a mini newborn shoot and a full newborn session - each designed with different needs, timeframes and budgets in mind.
NEWBORN MINI SESSION- simple, timeless and to the point.
Newborn mini sessions are designed for parents who love simplicity, want a shorter session, or are working to a budget- because let’s be honest, welcoming a newborn comes with lots of other expenses too.
Mini sessions offer two beautiful, clear options, allowing you to focus on what matters most to you:
Option 1: Baby-only images
You’ll receive 3 timeless images of your baby partially wrapped to show those adorable legs, toes and fingers. These sessions focus purely on your newborn, capturing them in a few gentle, classic poses on a blanket colour of your choice, perfect for those who love clean, minimal newborn portraits.
Option 2: Parent & baby images
Alternatively, you can choose 3 images of you with your baby. These are natural, emotive poses that capture connection, closeness and those first precious moments of you all together.
You will be shown a handful of images from your session a week or so later for you to select your favourite 3 images, and of course, if you can not narrow it down, you can purchase a few additional images.

Mini sessions are shorter than full sessions and keep everything simple and relaxed, while still creating meaningful, high-quality images you’ll treasure forever.

Full Newborn Session – a completely bespoke experience.
A full newborn session is fully tailored to you.
Before your session, I ask that you send me some images of your favourite poses/styling and have you fill out a form with your preferences. You’ll choose the styling, colours and types of poses, and I’ll carefully plan your session around what matters most to you. Whether you love softly styled, timeless images, beautifully posed newborn portraits, or a mixture of floral baskets, cute baby tucked up in a miniature bed with teddies and parent and sibling images, your session is created entirely with your vision in mind.
These sessions allow time for feeds, cuddles and settling, ensuring a calm environment for your baby and a wider variety of images for you to treasure.
