Photography is an important investment.

I'm a firm believer in having portraits hung on the walls to create that sense of belonging and comfort for your children, lots of photo albums for your children and family to look through and all to be passed down through the generations of your family. Prints live in our lives like digitals cannot.

We run the risk of our future generations not knowing much of our families and how we lived. Everything is stored digitally and with technology advancing so quickly, old files will become obsolete and inaccessible.

And it's not just our children's portraits we should have in print and hung on our walls.

Just look at this beautiful radiant mummy to be. She looks so happy. Imagine how much her child will treasure this photo in years to come, to see how excited and proud she was all those years ago with her or him in her tummy. I only wish I had an image of myself like this to pass down to each of daughters.

By choosing to have your family professionally photographed, by purchasing prints and wall art, you are making a very important investment for your family and your future generations :)

Olivia's Newborn Session

I'm never one to say no when asked if the family pet can come along and join in a few pictures with the new addition to the family.

They say never work with children or animals but I certainly find them the most fun!

It was a real pleasure to meet this lovely family :)

Henry's Cake smash and Splash session.

Cake smash sessions are always a blast, I absolutely love doing these, they really are so much fun.

Henry had the most stunning large brown eyes and the cutest little face ever. He soon had his face and body covered in cake and thoroughly enjoyed himself! He was a joy to photograph :)

Here's a few shots from his Cake smash and splash session last week.

Cake Smash session

Last weeks cake smash birthday girl was one of my previous newborn clients. It's such a delight to have these little people back, to see how they've grown and to be part of their first birthday celebrations, it's such an honour for me.

Here's little Aubree-Mae about a year ago, one of my all time favourite images, and she's still just as stunning now :)

Aubree-Mae wasn't all that interested in smashing up the cake, a few little pokes here and there and a helping prod and a dig from dad! I usually save the bubbles until the splash part of the session but we bought them out early and managed to capture lots of beautiful images. Here's just a few of the photos from the finished gallery of over 40 images.

Mum said Aubree-Mae loves the bath and she most certainly did. I think she would have been happy in there all day long!
